2/24/2023 0 Comments Dopewars crypto game![]() They both seem to be "idle" sorts of games and text based but at such a quick pace, they're a lot more input dependant. ![]() Lurking through reddit I came across 2 more great games in my opinion which are still under development (I think) and I promptly joined the private beta tester group to see what direction the devs were going, These games are called Junction Gate and Prosperity. I went on to find an active reddit community actively seeking more incremental type games to fill their casual strategy builder hunger. I found a casual genre of strategy I think in my opinion which is mostly played online, It reminded me of playing DopeWars on ancient Windows PDA 'things' years ago.įirstly I found a game on github, which I forked for a while called Blackmarket which had some very interesting developments over the last few years but production halted. These sorts of games led me to becoming deeply indulged in good RTS(MMORTS) games which I would usually get sick of after 6 months or so. ![]() I was just wondering how many of you were 'into' the Chris Sawyer games, such as RollerCoaster Tycoon I & II?ĭo you still play Tycoon games? I think there is a major lack in decent(finished) isometric style tycoon games and often go back to playing the classics to fill a particular "need" for entertainment. Thanks for that It assures members and even anonymous visitors that there is a good, strong community spirit in your forums. There's a bunch of other ways to do this (as with anything in Tasker ) but hopefully this gets you started.I'm new here and a lot of these other threads are such a great help to the rest of the RPGMaker community, You can see all the Moderators and forum staff work really well together and with the community making it very pleasant atmosphere and everyone is friendly, among helpful and inspiring. Notice that %Items and %Prices are Global arrays so they retain their values. The "Goto" Action in A8 is there so - if that particular item isn't available in the city/location you're in - Tasker will skip it and go on to the next item. And Action A11 is there to update the 'master' prices array with whatever the new price is, so its available for comparison the next time you run the Task. but that should get you headed in the right direction. Now it's around A10 in the example above that you'll need to add some comparison logic, etc. Variable Set: %Prices(%num) To: %new_price Flash: %item_name WAS %price AND NOW IS %new_priceĪ11. Variable Set: %new_price To: %aitext(%index)Ī10. Variable Set: %index To: %aitext(#?%item_name)+1 Do Maths: OnĪ9. Variable Set: %price To: %Prices(%num)Ī7. Variable Set: %item_name To: %Items(%num)Ī6. AutoInput UI Query (outputs %aitext array)Ī5. ![]() Array Set: %Items Values: Apples,Grapes,Bananas,PineappleĪ2. ![]() And it looks like in the %aitext() array the price always follows the item in the next index'd array position.Ī1. When you go to a new city and the list order changes, you can use Tasker's Array Search functions to find the same item(s) and compare the prices. Fortunately, good things can occur too, like finding drugs on a corpse, buying extra pockets, or meeting a nice friend.Īnyways onto your issue - what you need is a master list of all the possible items in the game (in an array), and then an array of corresponding prices. acid price to 1300 and if that price is lower than 1300, make a flash.īut it's not that easy, some bad things can occur during your move, such as muggings, and cops. Basically I need to figure out how compare I.e. The game works so that when I make my move to another city, the list of drugs and prices updates, and some of the drugs are not available hence the position of each drug changes. acid won't always be on %aitext(11)) I've got the following from an UI Query: Now I'm trying to task it up a bit, ultimately I want my task to highlight the lowest price on a drug (I don't use or endorse the use of drugs irl) The main struggle is that I can't figure out how I compare the prices, since the drugs/price position vary from screen to screen, meaning that I.e. So I've been playing this little game, Dope Wars, for years. ![]()
